Tim Melling

I came across Tim Melling whilst looking into the Bird Watching magazine. Tim has worked in nature conservation all his life and since 1988 he has been a conservation officer for the RSPB which is a charity run specifically for helping create a secure environment for birds and other wildlife. Tim also has a degree in Zoology and a PhD in butterfly ecology. I discovered him when looking at the events which the Bird Watching magazine held and luckily to my surprise Tim is doing a talk at an event near(ish) to myself which I will be excited to attend.

This image was taken by Tim himself for a BBC article. He photographs all kind of wildlife but likes to focus most on birds. Looking through his flikr site, his passion for wildlife is obvious, its lovely how each image Tim has taken the time to talk about what he has photographed, and some knowledge of the bird or animal, there really are some beautiful pictures on his flikr, take a look – http://www.flickr.com/photos/timmelling
